June Assignment

From the usual small amount of input the consensus goes to photos of scenes at different times of day or with interesting shadows. Of course, manly themes, as was suggested for father's day, can be part of that. But really 99% of us active in this group are women although more male participation is welcomed. As it happens I have an example :) I posted in the garden group about a time lapse garden camera my son had given me.

Time Lapse

Here are three photos of the same scene at opposing ends of the day including one somewhat decent exposure mid day. Good thing white flowers jump out of the dark : ) I know we can do much better than this.

I'm a big fan of sunrises and sunsets, particularly over the ocean. Photos below were taken a few days before my wedding this past September in Kitty Hawk, NC. We got married on the beach just about where the photos were taken, and had the reception on the pier. It was wonderful. ;-]
