Does your doodle have Car-sickness?

I didn't think this should go into the Medical Issues group as it really isn't an illness so much as a motion issue. Bella vomits every time we take her in the car. Has anyone experienced this with their doodle and has it lessened or stopped as they got older and more used to the motion?

I take them with me whenever I am doing errands that they can participate in so they go out with me at least a few times a week. My car is going to start smelling pretty nasty soon.

I was having the same problem with Bo.  Every time I took him in the car he would get so anxious.  He would drool puddles on the seat and then when I would stop the car, he's throw up.  I bought him a Thundershirt for the anxiousness and put it on him when we go in the car and have moved him from being harnessed in the back seat to being harnessed in the front seat with me.  I can talk softly to him, pet and sooth him too.  Well, it's working.  The Thundershirt has really calmed him down!  The drooling is down to a minimum and he hasn't gotten sick once.  I bought him the shirt 5 days ago and he's been in the car with me everyday since.  Yesterday we went on a 30 minute car ride and he was fine.

i have seen the thundershirts talked about on here before. Good to know someone who has had it work for them.

Jersey used to get sick in the car. The vet gave me something for it and she out grew it after several months.
