I'm going to make some for Molly and Ali tonight.
I'm getting some organic chicken and beef broth, along with the icecube trays today.
I was thinking of mixing some of the broth with yogurt and some of the broth with chopped up carrots...maybe some with a kibble piece or two in it. Then freezing them over night, hopefully I'll have a good summer time treat by tomorrow.
However, I just wanted to ask...does anyone have any other popsicle ideas? Also, I'm curious if I should dilute the broth with some water?
I'm excited to see if my pups like their new frozen treats....as it's getting well over 100 here in the smack dab middle of SC. Yuck!

Broth can be extremely salty, so I would be sure to get the low sodium kind and probably also dilute it.

I have heard of freezing plain yogurt for dogs...but just yogurt.

ohhhh, I didn't even think about the salt! Thanks Allyson, I'll def. add water and get the low sodium kind :-)
I've heard of the frozen yogurt too, but I thought I would try a variety, lol.
You could do plain yogurt with carrots or kibble in it...

Darwin loves his yogurt/peanut butter popsicles. I freeze it into his Kong.

I think that a combo of yogurt and blueberries would be a nice treat for a dog, maybe with pumpkin?
