I voted. I thought they were all lacking a little... je ne sais quoi. Some had a lot of potential and could be developed more though.

I agree. Too cartoonish in general.

For me, one problem with a lot of these is that the dogs just don't look very doodle-y or very cute, and the cuteness of doodles is a big reason all of us are here. Many of these dogs' faces look mad, sad, angry, and some look downright demented or scary.

I liked #s 46 & 48, the design is very clear and simple, but the dog has a cute, happy face. Numbers 88, 93, 94 & 95, all variations of the same design, are also nice clear simple designs and the dog's face is cute. All need to be a little shaggier maybe.

And I liked #97, it adds a little sophistication and the doodle silhouette is nice. I think that artist has trouble with faces, because the face on the same artist's logo that was inculded in the poll is one of the miserabl-looking ones, lol.

I liked the two with the photographs, maybe because the dogs ARE doodles, lol, but i'm guessing you don't want photos.

No photographs are out--see comments on the bottom of the submissions. I agree though I don't like the expression of a lot of the doodles. And I agree 97 is good.

I agree.  I also like #46 but we prefer a Doodle image that is looking at us - engaging us. What do you think... is that important?

 

I too would prefer shaggier doodles.

 

Again, we understand how incredibly difficult logo design is.  We'll get there!
