Out of Proportion!

I have noticed lately that after I have done a post with pictures in it, the pictures are showing up out of proportion.  They look fine when I insert them. 

 

This wasn't happening before.  Anyone else seeing this?  Any ideas on what I am doing to cause this?

If using WIndows, try running in Compatibility mode,  click on the button that looks like a broken page at the top of your window, should be next to the refresh button... this hopefully will solve the problem.

I have given up on IE8 as a browser especially when uploading pictures.  I pretty much use Firefox now with an occasional flirtation with Google Chrome.

If you are using IE9, it does not play well with our site.  (Hopefully this will be improved, shortly.)  Until then, try the "compatibility mode" as Nina suggested above.  Others have had success with that.  Test other browsers as well.  I use mostly Chrome but Firefox as well.  I use IE only for testing since it is statistically the most popular browser with our members.

Can you change the pixel size?  I put mine at 550 or even 350.
