Overwhelmed in Pet Smart!

There is a Pet Smart around the corner from where I work.  So I decided to cruise around during my lunch hour, maybe pick up a few things to get ready for my pup.

 

It was overwhelming.  I did not know where to begin, collars, leashes, harness, food, ear powder,  shampoo, etc. The only thing I bought was a little first aid kit.  I need a list. 

 

Your advice is appreciated!

 

I do have a crate and a brush from Kemp.

where did you find the pet carrier?

I got mine online but I have seen several kinds at PetCo. Pet Smart will have them too. I would just do a Google search or Amazon to see what is out there and what your price point is. Pretty sure I got mine on Amazon.

Do you want/need any kind of ID tag?

You need an I'd tag, kongs, collar, start researching vets in your neighborhood. Get a leash, harness, start observing the puppy class to decide who you want to take class with and when they are. My dog loved the rubber toy that looks like keys. We used them all through teething and they worked great. We ended up needing 2 because she liked it so much that she ate through one key and then it can't be used.
Relax and take your time figuring out what you need.
