We are waiting for the litter to be born.  I feel like a stalker on here several times a day and on the breeders website.  :)  I'm sure she thinks I am nuts and don't have anything better to do with my time, with all of my follow up emails.  LOL  We are hoping for a large, curly, blonde to red male.  Our 15 year old was like "mom you act like you are having a baby, reading everything and looking at all the dog stuff".  It doesn't hurt to be prepared does it?!? :-)  I'm too excited and I can't wait.

is it time to go yet??? can we leave now??/ how many more hours??? how are we ever going to choose just one?? These are my thoughts tonight as I wait for 7am to leave to meet Miss Lilly. The good news is after we meet her we drive to KC airport and fly to Charlotte, NC for a week..then I only have two more weeks till we bring her home and I ahve those weeks booked solid to pass the time. Is anyone else more nervous about bringing home a puppy than bringing home their babies??

I am so jealous!!!  Have fun on your drive over and on your trip to Charlotte after picking out your little sweetie.  You will spoil her rotten when you get her home!

thanks Steph.. can't wait to hear about your new doodle

Stephanie..the little village of Brownville, NE doesn't have a store or gas station. We drive 10 miles to Auburn to buy food, 30 miles to Nebraska City for Walmart and mex food:) and 70 miles to either Omaha or Lincoln for everything else.  I love the quiet but miss running to the mall and store a mile away in Vero Beach, FL where we go winter. Now that we have a place in Tucson, we will spilt the time between the three.. Lilly will think the car is another home:)

I feel the same way.  We do have some stuff here in town, we used to live suburb of KC and we keep moving further and further south.

I snuck a peak at your baby girl and she is beautiful.  I'm sure the wait is even harder now that you got to hold her.  Have fun on your trip.

Thank you Stephanie! Any luck with choosing a breeder?
Gayle, I will be thinking of you sunday.. can't wait to hear about those first days...I am two wks behind you..wish we all lived closer to enjoy/bit*ch about the puppy days.. it will be just like raising kids..in a blink of an eye, they will be grown and we will want another baby..
Mimi...we drive 5 hrs to pick up our pup "for keeps" tomorrow.....couldn''t sleep last night and with as prepared as I am, I still have to run out to buy the dog food today!!!  Very exciting time!  Hang in there!
