A $50 fine for this level of abuse and neglect? I think there is something terribly wrong with your justice system/laws on animal welfare. The person who did this is most likely capable or has already abused people too. It's great that Buddy will at least enjoy the rest of his days in comfort surrounded by love.

This poor poor dog. Can't the owner be chained up.. If only for a short time just to see if they like it.
It should be a fine of a lot lot more.

I am going to focus on the last part of Buddy's life - OVER TOP HAPPY that this innocent, sweet and loving boy will end his years with love and caring.
This is what should have happened to Michael Vick's Property - a final door closed on evil and injustice of our four legged friends!

What a sweet old guy. My heart breaks for him, but I am so glad that he will enjoy the time he has left. A fifty dollar fine is ridiculous - a car parking violation is this much. What a travesty.

$50 fine is ridiculous.... They need to review their laws.... maybe a petition can be made, like for the sled dogs in Whistler (close to my home)
