I am just curious if anyone would care to share in the aftermath of many formula/food changes is anyone noting their dogs are experiencing yeasty ears? And if so when did you notice it and what are you feeding? When Canidae changed their formula we did not have some of the stomach issues but it was right about the time we saw problems with yeast around here. Most cleared up with food changes but a few still linger. I am most interested if anyone else has noted this? Thanks!

Both my guys have yeast in the ears, seems like constantly. We've never associated it with food, though. So I will be interested to read other comments that follow. Our vet suggested that it was water in the ears (swimming & baths) and the timing of the infections seemed right.
Often it is associated with grains in food. What type of food do you use?
IAMS Sporting. Our guys are thin, so the Vet wanted them on a high-caloric food. And it's first ingrediant is chicken, which is somethign we were also looking for as we suspected a food allergy a while back and they fared very well on boiled chicken and rice.
CORN IS THE CULPRIT WITH KELSEY...WE DID OUR OWN TEST WITH DIET CHANGES AND NO YEAST WAS DETECTED IN HER EARS AFTER WE HAD HER ON A STRICT DIET IF CHICKEN AND VEGETABLES...
We have a corn problem, too! Ginger had yeasty, smelly ears and was always itchy until I eliminated corn from her diet. Now, no more problems.
