Support Doodle Kisses & Doodle Rescue by using Amazon.com

Hello all!

We have found a new way for you to support Doodle Kisses and in turn support Doodle and dog rescue. As you know, DK donates 25% of profits to Doodle and dog rescue organizations. So the more money this site generates, the more we (and you!) can support rescue organizations. This is only possible because of you and all the rest of our Doodle addict members. We thank you so much for your support of DK!

 

Here is the new source of revenue. Amazon.com will give us a small commission on all Amazon sales to US customers that we send their way. It's not a huge amount (it starts at 4%) but we figured if all our members that shop at Amazon.com always shopped Amazon through our link, it would be a nice way to support both DK and Doodle Rescue.

 

It's super easy. Whenever you are going to buy something at Amazon, just go to their site through our link. Then everything you buy in the next 24 hours will give us a small commission. If you are buying another day, come back and go through our link again to make sure we get credit.  Cool, eh?

This is so cool! The total earned yesterday was less than $3... but that wasn't for a full day and not everyone knows about our cool amazon.doodlekisses.com link yet!

 

Some notes on what we have learned so far. YES, Kindle books earn us a commission and in fact, it looks like they earn us a bigger than physical books (6% vs. 4%). So just order your Kindle books with your computer through our link and you are golden.

 

The other products that earns us an even higher commissions are 'Instant Video" Video / TV downloads. Those earn 10%. Cool.

 

Even though it's probably too early to project, I'll do it anyway. It looks like this one simply change in your shopping habits will generate an additional $500/year for rescue organizations. It's not huge, but every bit counts. And just think, no one has bought anything like Cameras or TVs yet. This is pretty cool.

$500 is pretty huge compared to zero. Besides it is so easy and workable to do it this way. So glad we can chip by changing our habits. Just keep reminding people that it is an option.

Clark, could you check if this can also be applied for amazon.de? Europe does not have Amazon sites for every country but only Amazon UK and Amazon Germany. I use the German site to order my German books and Amazon UK for all the rest so it would be great if this would also apply for the German site as it is used by more than 1 country.
