It's decision time.  There were so many great captions.  First, I narrowed it down to these 5 finalists, which was not an easy task:

 

From F. Parker, Calla, and Luca: "My what big teeth you have:, said the rabbit.

From Laurie, Fudge, and Vern: Hugh Hefner said this is the last time Halas gets invited to the Playboy Mansion.

Also from Laurie, Fudge, and Vern: Halas: Oh Yuck! I just found a hare in my mouth!

From Karen & Jack: "Bunny...the Other White Meat."

From Camilla and Darwin: "Ridding the world of stuffies, one bunny at a time."

 

Halas and I read the captions over and over making sure the winner was still funny, even after several readings.  We considered the other comments to the captions, in order to see what others liked.  We decided Laurie couldn't win, because she just started the contest and mailed the Intercourse shirt to me, so it would be unfair to send it right back to her.  But now, we've made a decision.

FYI, selecting Karen's caption had nothing to do with the fact that I'm having lunch with her Friday and can therefore give her the t-shirt in person, instead of having to go the post office.

Well, I am just overwhelmed by this...this is the very first time I have won anything here on DK. (Of course, it figures that the one time I win something, it isn't something I actually get to keep.)

Maybe I will have Leslie take the photo at lunch next week. I'm sure the restaurant will be thrilled to have a 59-yr-old woman standing in the middle of the room posing in a huge T-shirt that says I LOVE INTERCOURSE while a younger woman snaps her photo. Leslie, be sure and wear those weird shoes with the toes. Maybe we will make the local papers.

It will be hard to find a good photo for the next contest. I'm not known for my photographic skills. But I'll do my best.
