My doggie is not a doodle. Can we still belong?

So funny...  My dog, Basil, has a million nicknames.  One of them happens to be doodle. and a dear friend calls her dogs doodles sometimes. So when happenstance brought me to this great site about dogs called doodlekisses, well I immediately signed up.

 

I noticed this morning that this is a site about real doodles.  My Basil is a rat terrier/schnauzzer mix.  While we are feeling a little foolish, we don't want to be presumptious and remain members if the group would prefer we didn't. 

Please let us know what the policy is and we will comply.

Dori - I guess my note thanking you last week didn't go through - so sorry.  You are the small world maker!  I have google analytics on the Dry Babe website.  I started seeing all this traffice coming from doodlekisses and I just had to know what it was.  Then I see it is a group of amazing dog lovers and I had to join.  Then yesterday I noticed that perhaps we don't qualify so I sent that note out. Thank you for mentioning DB and for introducing me to this great group.

 

I have to say to everyone - we are thrilled by the welcome and can't wait to join in the shenanigans!  As I am going through all the messages (43!!!) I am laughing.  My husband only has a vague clue as to what I am laughing about.  If I tell him that there is a group of wonderful ppl taking bets on when we will get a doodle, I think he will fall over.  It took me 2 years to convince him that we absolutely had to have 1! Now he loves Basil of course, but 2 may set him over the edge :) 

 

Dori - p.s. more styles & sizes are coming soon.  DB is a start-up so going slowly. Will be very happy to give any member of this group a very nice discount since now you all are starting to feel like family- just putting it out there, I am not here on this site to drum up business.

Wendy - on Friday nights we have "Yappy Hour" (there is a group for that), LOL, and we actually use the DK group "chat" feature.  I think what you saw on your analytics was when, during a Yappy Hour chat, we were talking about night sweats and I put your link into the chat to ask if anyone had tried your product or something like it.  It was funny, though, because I was trying to think of what the URL was...so, in a different window I went to search for hotbabes (in my defense, I did not click through on any of the results)...didn't take me long to realize I wasn't on the right path so I went back into the LinkedIn Dog lovers group to find it. 

 

Let me know when more styles come out...I am tired of waking up in the middle of the night and having to move to a different part of the bed!  LOL

Welcome Wendy...we all are a little bit crazy but you are gonna love us!  I figure you will want to wait until after the winter to get your Doodle because if you have snow or rain, winter is not a good time to be running outside every hour for the pee brake.  Spring time is perfect!  There is no way you are going to survive this group without getting a Doodle!  They are the most best thing ever invented and we all are obsessed.  Check out our clothing line on Cafe Press!!!  We have some great sayings on the tee shirts and hoodies...ha ha.  It takes a while to figure out who the "players" are but the one to watch out for is Laurie of Fudge and Vern.  She is a regular blogger here and really keeps us laughing!  Then she pulls in Joanne, Spud and Starlit to the conversation and it takes off from there.  Hang on for the ride of your life!!!!

Welcome, I missed this post earlier, so I will ditto what all the wonderful people here have said. You can learn so much about dog ownership in general. I have had dogs all my life and thought I knew it all. I knew nothing! I am such a better doodle mom since I joined this site. Join some of the incredible groups.
