My doggie is not a doodle. Can we still belong?

So funny...  My dog, Basil, has a million nicknames.  One of them happens to be doodle. and a dear friend calls her dogs doodles sometimes. So when happenstance brought me to this great site about dogs called doodlekisses, well I immediately signed up.

 

I noticed this morning that this is a site about real doodles.  My Basil is a rat terrier/schnauzzer mix.  While we are feeling a little foolish, we don't want to be presumptious and remain members if the group would prefer we didn't. 

Please let us know what the policy is and we will comply.

Wendy, your story is pretty funny. I am pondering the notion of "real doodles" versus doodly dogs. I'm going to get Zachary my doodle tomorrow - but I've been talking about my three french bulldogs (and they don't think that they are doodles) for the past month and everyone's been very nice to me. Even though I will be an official doodle owner tomorrow, I doubt the frenchies would take kindly if I stopped talking about them!

This is such a small world.  A few weeks ago I joined the Dog Lovers group on LinkedIn.  One of the things was to introduce yourself in 7 words or less.  I remember reading someone's intro....it mentioned www.drybabe.com and I checked it out - I wasn't sure if it would around my hips (lol).  I checked out your page and as I was reading, I see that site again...it's yours!  Very cool!
