Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum

Let's compare puppy sizes again!  So, Rosie is now 18 weeks and 23.5 pounds.  She is supposed to be around 40 pounds as an adult.  She is a medium ALF.  =)

Luna has topped out at 35 lbs (15.8 kg) - She's been that weight since about 9 months old.  She is an F1 mini goldendoodle (golden x mini poodle) and is now 11 months old.

She has been the same weight for a month, so I think this looks like her full adult size.  The breeder predicted 25-35 pounds - she is at the top end of the scale!  She doubles her dad's size (he was about 15-20 pounds)!

I think I am in trouble.. Chester is 23 Lbs at 11 weeks..Everyone comments on how big his paws are. He is an F2 Golden doodle. His parents were ~ 60 Lbs.. I think we are going to be bigger..
Chester is big! Sadie was 17 lbs at 11 weeks. She's now 5 and half months and 37 pounds. Her father was a 70-pound standard poodle and her mother was a 60-pound F1 labradoodle.
Chester is big! Camus is still gaining weight but slowly. I am worried. He is very skinny but tall. Is Chester slim? How tall is he? Camus is 16,5 right now and weighs 23,5 lbs. He is 13,5 weeks.
If I measure shoulder to paw- 16 ". He isn't really chubby.-solid and strong. With massive paws.Chester was gaining a few Lbs a week..He seems to be getting fussier with his food.

I see. It looks like Chester will be bigger.

I was trying to slow down Camus's growth and it worked. Now when his paws are fine, I'll add proteins and fat back.

Can I ask you how you slowed down Camus' growth?  Quincy is supposed to be a mini with a 25 lb mini poodle dad and a 38 lb pound labradoodle mom but he is already 31 lbs at 20.5 weeks old.  If I could slow his growth.....I would do just about anything. lol

I did that b/c Camus had some issues with his legs (or at least it looked like that to me) and in order to prevent the HOD or similar bone diseases it's recommended to slow the growth of the puppies of large breeds if they have symptoms of those disorders. It means 20% of proteins and 80% of other ingredients  instead of the common proportion of 30 / 70.  And I also used 10% fat meat instead of 20%.That's it.

If you ask me, I'd tell you: Don't fight against the nature, please!

I will love Camus whatever size he is. I just want him to be healthy.

what do you feed Camus?  How do you know percentages.  We are feeding ZOE just dry puppy food right now but reading this I'm not sure if we are feeding her correctly.  Please let me know...I'm a newbie.

I am right there with you Noe is weighting in at 20lb at 11 weeks currently! We were hoping she wouldn't break 50...

Zeus (Mom: Standard Poodle; Dad: Chow Chow)

(still waiting on info. from rescue on prior weights)

20 weeks: 36 lbs.

21 weeks: 38 lbs. and 22.5" tall

23 weeks: 43 lbs. and 23" tall

Amante is 14 weeks and about 16 pounds!!
