Swim season - let's see those dood's!

Yankee went for his first swim this year. The water was very cold but my granddaughter got brave and went in the pool. Of course, Yankee followed her.

First time Riley is in a real lake with waves. He had a great time.

Rua's first swim was on last Sunday, August 7th, 2011.  One of the local pools was closing down for the season and the Nebraska Humane Society put on a Doggie Dip...$5.00 for dog and 2 humans.  Tonight, another pool is shutting down and they are doing the same thing.  My DH was taking the pictures but didn't take any of just her swimming.  I'll get him in the water tonight and I'll take some.

 

(In my defense, I was staring into the sun and had water in my eyes.  Note to self...wear sunglasses next time.)

PRECIOUS beyond words.  What a gentle giant....  And boy do I envy you that DGC (doodle grand child?).  She looks so happy that Finn joined her.  And he looks so RELAXED.  Cool picture. What about Finn?

Great idea for a group.  Every shot reminds me of one of the retrievers (big) I used to have.  I wish I had a pool but not practical in IL.  We have a creek in our park, but since Sheila only weighs 9 lbs. and is timid, she barely puts her feet in.  But I LOVE looking at the pics of you guys.
