When I told my DH about the cruise this evening, I asked him if he wanted to go and he said "um, no, but I will if you want me to"..........So...looks like I am cruising solo :) Unless he changes his mind by Monday.
Ronna, if I go, do you want to be my room mate?
I told Todd that I wanted a balcony in case the boat starts to go down, I can jump into the water :) I just want to be able to get some fresh air and was worried about claustrophia. I think the interior state rooms would be fine.
I could NEVER be in an interior room.  No windows - at least with an ocean view you can glance outside to see if it is light or dark.  That is just MY issue - plenty of people love the price of the interiors and trust you me - you won't spend a lot of time in your room, unless like me - I enjoy hanging out on my balcony.  Coffee, wine and what not will be going down in room 7230!!!  Stop bye.
Laurie-You really want that balcony so you can stand on it and do the Titanic scene like Jack and Rose. :)
My DH and I are going to practice every night until the cruise....LOL!!
My first and only prior cruise, Lisa, we did and interior state room.  It is just fine.  I can't even remember where what level we were on or how where near the center of the ship we were.  I never even felt the ship.  If you want a balcony because you love sitting on the deck and looking out and that is worth it to you, spend the extra.  If not, do an interior and save.  Come with us, Lisa!
We always had interior state rooms (not even a port hole) on Disney and were fine. Just to get a window was almost $200 extra and I figured I could easily spend that on something more important. We were hardly ever in the room.
Ha ha ha....all the ads are about cruises or sailing LOL
Can the doodles cruise?
Sorry but no dogs allowed.
I don't get to go on this fun trip (I'm a teacher- no fun allowed :), but wanted to add one of my suggestions for survival in a small space. When we went on a cruise, I took a clear plastic over the door shoe organizer and we put that on the bathroom door. In the pockets we kept suntan lotion, shampoos, and anything else you wanted quick access to. It came in very handy, as there is little to no room in the bathrooms, and most of your luggage needs to put away so you can move around your room. I have used it in hotels too. I recently got an organizer bag from LL Bean that I love. It stores all of your bathroom items in one bag and when you open it up it has a hanger that you could hang on the back of the bathroom door (if it has a hook). They come in 3 sizes. I have the largest one, and it fits fullsize bottles of shampoo and hairspray. If you get an interior state room without a window, you may want to bring a little plug in nightlight to find your way around (to the bathroom, etc). It gets very dark without a window, but it is great for sleeping.
