yep! ours does the same!

something cute that I saw another breeder do especially for pups not ready in time for christmas (but are still being 'given' as christmas gifts) was make the family a dvd with pictures and videos of the puppies that explains that their puppy is coming home by X date and time from Santa, but right now he/she is still too little. I thought that was pretty neat-- especially for kids to see on christmas day so they can wait with anticipation!
