Just a note

Just wanted to say that DH & I are leaving for Orlando for a week of relaxation & fun. We were supposed to go last month, but my mother in law passed away. We had to go to New Jersey for a week, and we came home both sad and exhausted. So I re do the reservations, and this stupid hurricane comes along. BUT, someone up there must feel sorry for us, and sent the hurricane to the east, I just hope it makes a turn into the ocean not affecting land on the eastern seaboard. so we will get some rain and wind, but that is all...So we postponed for a day, and we are leaving tomorrow. It is only a 2 1/2 hr ride for us, but it can be tricky if the weather is bad...So I am hoping we get there before it starts. AND lets hope it doesn't affect Orlando. We are not going to the parks, just going to chill and relax, and go to some nice places for dinner. Our pool has a great bar under a waterfall, so I have my stool picked out, lol...Oliver and Renny are going to the sitters house, they will be fine and have her poodles to play with...And of course I call everyday to check and say hi to them...( I know I am nuts.)..so take care everyone, stay safe and healthy and have a good week... I hope you have a great vacation, and I'm sorry to hear about the loss of your Mother-In-Law. That waterfall bar sounds pretty cool!

Sorry to hear about your loss. You and your DH definitely deserve a relaxing worry-free vacation!! Where are you staying? I'm am a Disney fanatic, so whenever I hear "Orlando" my ears perk up and I NEED to know where people are staying, what they'll be doing, etc!

hey Sue we are Hilton Grand Vacation owners, so we are staying at their resort on International Drive. I believe it is the Tuscany Resort We love that resort, we have a two bedroom, really nice, of course my son and his wife were supposed to come, but they can't so now we have this huge apt for the two of us, lol. And the best part is it is right near the outlet mall in fact you can walk there from the resort...We are not going to the parks, we have done them too many times, so we are just going to chill out and sleep late, and just have fun. We will go to the winery around there, and to Mt, Dora, a nice little twon near there. Lots of antiques and little shops to browse thru, and the dinner etc...

Your vacation plans sound wonderful. I'm glad you and your DH will have this quiet time together. I'm so sorry about the loss of your MIL. Hoping your time together is healing.
