I know my baby....My sweet little baby. It is hard for me to know what is him not feeling good and that is why he is laying around and what is from him not being the crazy puppy he always was...
Hoping for answers soon.
Thanks Jane.. Jack is a funny guy for sure.. I did not leave him yesterday at all, so instead of him having to go in a crate in between testing, they brought him back to me.. Well I snuck out yesterday while he was having the ultrasound done to go to the bank because I needed to. They told me I had a half hour.
Apparently they got done sooner because when I walked back in the building I heard Jack howling and barking at the top of his lungs, the kind not where he is in pain but where he is mad.. I said "oh that sounds like Jack" the lady said it is. I asked why he was barking and they said, Oh because we put him in a crate..
Little bugger... He was so insulted.. He looked at me like Mom they don't know I don't go in crates!!!!!
From one Jennifer to another :-), you might not feel like it, but you are a strong, stubborn, amazing woman AND you are only going to become more amazing! I say this because God won't allow you to go through anything you can't handle (so you obviously are already amazing), but He will enable you to face everything that comes your way. Do you have spandex and a cape, because it sounds like you are SuperJen and sidekick JackieD.
You will get through this....I am glad you consider us your family here and if I can be of support via the internet, then that makes me happy.
Sweet Jack - give him a big hug from me!
Geesh Jennifer. :(
So sorry. I can't help but wonder/worry about the Addisons. Have you contacted the breeder with this new information? This is a disaster now. This is serious, not only for you and all you are going through, but her breeding program as well :( It would be over if this were the case. Correct?
So much more to this story if this were true.
Hoping all goes well for Jack and you in the following days
The breeder knows, is one million percent supportive, Jack is the only one out of the three litters that were bred with any issues what so ever.... and the mother dog has not bred dogs since Jack was born because she only allows them to breed three times.
Her breeding program is outstanding and she has many dogs that are in it, Jack's mom was retired because she had her three litters. I am in contact with many of the siblings all are totally healthy
She is an outstanding breeder, All her dogs are proven to be tested for all the regular tests plus several others. I back my breeder one million percent. Disease happens. Jack's dad is champion sired and is totally one hundred percent healthy and so are the many many other puppies that he has sired.
It can happen with any dog and in no way shape or form do I blame the breeder, she is beyond upstanding in all that she does. She has already offered to help me and it is past the two year health certificate...
It is not a disaster for her by any means, she did nothing wrong and has some of the most amazing dogs I have ever seen
