Update on Johnny Boy

Hi friends. Just a quickie update. Johnny Boy got a "clean bill of health" from his blood work at the vet today. I knew he would as he is practically back to his old silly, sweet self again. Mind you, he lost 5lbs in weight during this entire ordeal and I probably gained 5lb from "stress" eating. On a very irritating note....his stupid mum (me) who also happens to be a seasoned RN (so this is unforgivable) did not get enough cells on his DNA swab and was informed today that I would be sent a new sample kit and we would have to redo it and wait another torturous two to three weeks for the results....aye carumba....I am so frustrated with myself but I guess the fact that he is well again, is what really matters. Just wanted to thank everyone for such an outpouring of support and I will be in touch regarding his breed in about three weeks...

OMG! Now nurse Frances! How could you have done such a thing? Hehee! This is probably working out better anyway! You wouldn't have cared much about the results when you were going through all of that anyway. So glad the vet says Johny is AOK! I am excited to find out what breed gives him that tight curl and poof. He might just be more poodle than labrador.
