On a scale of *1 to 5 DOODLES* how was the movie/documentary?

If it put you to sleep, you can give it *5 SHEEP* - ha!

I watched the Source Code last night. I give it 3 Doodles. It was good, but not as great as some others I've rented lately. I still recommend watching it. It's one of those that makes you think about it over and over the next day...
I love movies that make you think for more than the ride home.  Although sometimes a simple story that leaves you without any questions is good too!   Case in point - we just saw Crazy, Stupid Love & it was somewhat predictable but enjoyable. I'd give it 3 doodles.
Just went to see My Idiot Brother. I have been to many movies this summer and they kept showing previews to this movie that looked pretty funny. Well, we went to see the movie and the only funny parts were basically what they showed in the previews. I could not connect with any of his sisters. Paul Rudd did a good job, but I thought the movie was dumb. I am only giving it two doodles and advise you to rent it on DVD.
2 doodles doesn't even make my DVD list, especially if someone  generous like you has rated it : )
LOL

We rented "Unknown" this week, starring Liam Neeson. It's about a man, Dr. Martin Harris, who gets into a car accident soon after he arrives in Berlin to attend a conference. When he wakes up 4 days later, his wife doesn't know who he is and another man has taken his identity. Talk about a roller coaster ride with some unexpected twists! It had me on the edge of my seat through most of the movie! I give it 4.5 Doodles - at least! Here's the trailer: http://youtu.be/bcE2dGpyDyk

My husband and I went to see The Debt with Helen Mirren. The movie made me a nervous wreck and I grabbed my DH in a couple of spots. I do not want to give too much away, but I did not believe the ending and for that reason it gets 3 Doodles. Suspenseful in spots and good plot.
Too bad about the end. Those things really annoy me. I do love Helen Mirren. I'm planning to watch, BBC-PBS series she was in.
She is a great actress and she did a great job with this role. It is hard to say what bothered me without giving the ending away. It was worth the matinee price and gave us something to do when it was pouring outside. I would not have to see it again and you know, I could still go back and see The Help again or my favorite, Crazy, Stupid Love, which I have now been to with different people THREE times. Hey, we have had a lot of rain :)
Watched Secretariat (2010) on Friday night...loved it.  I'd give it 4+ Doodles.  Just finished watching Soul Surfer....loved it, too.  Would give it 4+ Doodles.  Two great movies...both had a bit of the underdog factor, as well as perseverance.  Soul Surfer was all about faith and hope too.

I loved Secretariat, too! Good to know Soul Surfer is out. I'd like to see that.

"Taken" with Liam Neeson--4.5 Doodles.  It's from 2008 and has been on TV a couple of times.  Good action, and I have a weakness for these spy--tough guy on a mission movies.  Good plot, good action, a bit unbelievable in the action at times--but fun to watch if you like action movies.
