Can anyone recommend a breeder(s) who have been successful in producing the non-shedding "fleece" coats?  If not, a place to find them?  My thinking is that if there are more generations of this type of coat behind their dogs, there is less chance of producing shedders.  Not sure if that is even true.  I am trying to minimize getting another dog that sheds.  Thanks!

The DK guidelines do not permit breeder referrals in the public forum. People can message you privately.

However, if you really want to be sure of getting a dog that absolutely does not shed, I'd be looking at purebred poodles. When there are heavily shedding breeds in a dog's genetic make-up, as there are with all types of doodles, there is always the chance that any given puppy will end up shedding. your best chance for a non-shedding doodle is an F1B that has one parent who is a purebred poodle and one who is a non-shedding doodle.

Also, please read What To look for in a Breeder for general guidelines about finding a responsible, reputable, and ethical breeder.

That was my thought too, consider a standard poodle.
Id recommend looking at Australian Labradoodles (as opposed to American). This doesnt mean doodles directly from Australia. They tend to be more multi generational and therefore more predictable, though there may always be a throwback.
There is no specific breeders out there who creates 'more' fleece than other things.  It sounds like you want a multigenerational doodle though if you want generations of fleece behind the dog.  The thing is sometimes two wools produce some fleeces, sometimes a wool and a fleece together produce some fleeces, and sometimes two fleece coated doodles produce some fleeces.  Your best bet is to find a breeder who has been doing this for a few years as they might better at predicting which pups will have a fleece coat from any given litter.  But there's no guarantee that any specific litter will have X number of fleece coats.  If two dogs have been bred together several times and there seems to be a trend toward fleece coats that might be the litter to buy from.  But what you want is a breeder who has experience at coat prediction--and even then it's not a pure science.
