New Dog Bed for Winston

I'd like to get Winston a nice new dog bed. Something that will last a long time but with a cover I can remove and wash. there are so many different kinds and they can be quite pricey so I want to be sure to get the right kind.

 

Any suggestions of what kind to get?  What are some good online spots for dog bed shopping?

ooh, I'd like to know this one too. We have one for Lola that we LOOOOve and actually got as a gift, but the one in our bedroom is a bit of a disaster (and she chewed the zipper so we can't remove and wash it anymore!!)

I'm going to be watching the recommendations with interest. I'd like to get JD a really nice bed for his upcoming 7th birthday. It has to be somewhat dust-mite proof and washability is an absolute must. Price is not going to be a consideration, since it's a birthday gift for my best guy.

I got my two good dog beds at Costco. I don't know if I like the current patterns, I haven't been there in a while. But they are relatively inexpensive, thick and durable.

I was going to suggest the same.  We've had them for years and find them easy to care for and the patterns are really lovely. Ours had quite a variety.  They also come in sizes perfect for the larger dogs in different shapes.  I think they're a fantastic deal $ too F!

TJ Maxx has some great beds, especially if your dog is not huge like Vern. However, the bed Vern loves best is this one and I got it on Amazon. He uses it for digging (we are on our third cover) and rolling on and I think as a stress reliever...LOL. It has a hole in it right now and he pushes his ball through it and plays. Fudge did not like this bed at all.

The other bed both dogs will sleep on is one I got at Target and it is made out of washable material.

I love the one in the photo above, but I would bet that JD would be afraid to get up on it.

I got Haley one of these hoping it would help him with the summer heat.  I can get him to get on it easily enough but he will not stay on it.  I even put it over an airconditioning vent  (he will lay directly on the vent if given a chance) hoping that it being very cool would encourage him but NO WAY will he use it.
