crates

Just wondering what type of crate do people (or dogs) prefer.  The wire one, or the plastic one.  Can't seem to decide.  Any thoughts ???

I bought a wire/metal one. Enough room to lay newspaper in the back, and sleeping on something soft in the front.

HI,

I asked the same thing before we got Lilly.  We went with the wire one and it works fine. What sold me was that she can look out of the wire one and there is better air flow. when she came home I put a baby blanket with the mama's scent on it and one of my t.shirts in there for her to sleep on. I also got a beating heart toy for her since I had bought it before I read about snuggle puppy.  Lilly actually prefers to sleep with me:) but knew it was important for her to be crate trained.
