KoKo Then and Now

I just picked KoKo up from the new groomer who cut her really short so she could even out her coat.  Although I don't like her this short I know it will grow out quickly and hopefully she will have her nice long fur coat for the upcoming winter cold.  With every cut she keeps getting lighter and lighter so I added a photo of her at 3 months and today at one year.  Yes, it is the same doodle.

That's an amazing difference but she looks as cute as a button in both pictures.

Gosh! At 3 months she looks just like Ruff, and so different now! I wonder if Ruff will change colour? Do other doodles change colour?

 

My old Barney was black and stayed black until he reached about 14 years when he started going grey around the muzzle.

She is as cute as can be but she looks like a completely different dog. Crazy!

I think most doodles fade some as they mature, but KoKo has really changed quickly!  She is really a lovely color.
