Alright everyone.  We have all worked really hard with training this year and it is time for some fun.

This is our game of the week in our home.   Throw the ball  or favorite toy into a pile of leaves~~ we use a Chuck It, from far away so he is in fetch mode, and teach the command, "Find It"

This is simple, great for the ball obsessed dog, or toy driven.  It does not work on Starlit who is not so much toy oriented but it works great with Spud. He is SO PROUD

Tomorrow, when there is more light, I'll post a video.

HAVE FUN

Great idea Joanne! Would you mind coming to my house and raking my leaves into a pile so we can try it! LOL!!

I can just imagine Spud would LOVE this game! Can't wait for the video!

Ricki, Spud loves the leaf blower too.  Starlit runs for her life and hides in the house but Spud jumps up and down and gets the zoomies when I blow him with it.

So NO, get your own leaf blower and rake. I have ENOUGH

I thought you might say that! LOL! I think I'll get my DH instead! He loves anything that involves a power tool!
That sounds like a great game to play with the Doodles but we ain't got no fall leaves here in Southern California!!!!  The only thing I can do is throw Gracie's ball into my Agapantha plants and she can pounce in and break all of them down with her giant body!  I hate it when that happens!!!  Have fun...I look forward to the videos and photos from everyone!
OH no, don't do that!   How about a tub of bubbles or Styrofoam pellets?  Or move here to Ohio and help me with all these leaves.  It is such a month-long daily chore. Overwhelming. Got to make it fun somehow.
Piles of laundry might work... egh
The only thing that Gracie really likes to jump into the middle of is water.  She LOVES water.  She got to do the Splash Dogs Dock Diving yesterday at the Pet Expo that came to our town!  Talk about fun...OMD!
Just keep mowing. I had lots of leaves down in places before I mowed. ( Ignore the doodle, she's in the middle of a grooming process) Look:
Nancie I have 14 Maple trees and would be happy to ship you a few thousand boxes of leaves for Gracie Doodle to play in!! LOL!
Hey Ricki...that sounds like a plan!!!  We have a huge California Live Oak in our front yard that drops leaves but they are very stiff and have prickers on them!  Plus, no pretty colors like the Maple leaves turn...send them our way!!!!
LOL! Okay, I'm going to set the boxes under the trees to catch the leaves as they fall! That will also take care of the blowing/raking issue on my end!
Yikes!  14 maple trees, Ricki???  I was feeling sorry for myself because I have three!  I don't really mind getting the leaves into piles, but then what??  Getting rid of them is the problem.
