Rooney's 1st Gotcha-versary

This morning in the early pre-dawn the boys and I drove their dad to the airport as he is leaving for a trip to China.  On the way to the airport dh and I had a great time remembering back 1yr ago today when we were also up and in the car in the pre-dawn for the drive to the breeder's to pick Rooney up.  We laughed remembering his darling little cowlick that made the hair on his head stick straight up, how he was looking at us like "just what is going on here" as we drove away.  He was so cute, already well trained, calm and happy.  Where has this year gone?  Roon E Doodle - you bring such love and joy into my life!
