UPDATE-OLIVER!- IDOG Rescue Doodle Now Has a New Home!

Oliver Twist has left the shelter in LI and is now in a wonderful foster home in Ithaca, NY and happily enjoying life as a well adjusted, healthy dog! Hopefully we will receive pictures from his foster mom who reports that he is doing well, playing with her other dogs and feeling at ease in his new surroundings! What a difference in this little guy. He looks so different from the messy boy we first saw him as. I am so glad he is doing well and on his way toward finding his forever home. Great job, Jacquie.

Thanks Lynne...It has nothing to do with me...It was all that wonderful shelter tech Jonnie Coe...She really did a great job with him and called me daily with updates....In fact she called today looking for an update...The day Oliver left the shelter she called me in tears.....she was so happy for him and simultaneously so sad because she said she was really going to miss him....She is really an amazing person so dedicated to rescue and to educating the masses......I feel like I really made a new friend...

Thanks Joy...I will.....I know there are many people that are not really interested but I post for the individuals who are.....and hope that the information serves to educate others about the importance of rescue as well.....
