Do you mean a Doodle from Ireland or an Irish golden retriever poodle mix? If you are well informed about the different types of doodles and have done research on what to expect than there is a group listing golden doodles for sale. If you would like to take advantage of the sites information on adoption and or rescue there are several groups than can help inform you. There is one post that I think is gospel, it is what to look for in a breeder. This is filled with requirements for selecting a responsible breeders and is a wonderful guide. You don't say where you are from so that the breeders in your area cannot respond. That may help  you. Hopefully you have had phone responses. This is the right site to visit before you purchase your next family member, as adoption is a life long commitment. If you need guidance there are several members who are so knowledgeable about this site, Adina the creator is a phenomenal resource. Good luck

I'm guessing that Robert is looking for an Irish Setter and poodle cross. There are one or two I know of on DK. Maybe you could contact them. Breeder recommendations are not allowed on the main page.

Here is the page of one owner:

I don't think they mean Irish setters. There are Irish golden retrievers bred, they have different distinguishing traits. For example the shape and size of the head.
We meant Irish Setters and Poodle. It's called an Irish Doodle. Tha'ts what we are looking for.

Thanks

Just out of curiosity, what is the impetus for getting this mix?
We saw  an Irish Doodle in California but did not get a chance to ask the couple where they puchased her. We know there are breeders in Il., Fla, and Mi. We were hoping through this forum to find a breeder on the  West Coast.
So is it the color that you are interested in?

We have our doodle parents as a red golden retriever and an apricot poodle. So red doodles are available if this is the reason you were interested in the setter as a parent. I don't know what the difference when it comes to temperment and coat ect. would be, but I would find out if I were you.

Did any of the information on doodlekisses help you that I suggested?

I was wrong about the Irish doodle origins, hence my forwarding you to others on the site for information as I apparently don't know what I am talking about. :)

Steve I sent you a friend request so I an privately send you a MSG about our breeder. Snickers is an Irishgoldendoodle 1/2 poodle 1/4 Irish Setter and 1/4 Golden Retriever.
Sorry meant to say Robert not Steve.

This should be a great reference for the Wallaces'. I was also wondering about the irish setter traits you see in your dog. Do you think having the setter involved is giving more than just the red? Have your breeders come to a standard that is consistent with coat and shed and size ect. I love red doodles! If you could message me the breeder site I would like to check it out for fun. Glad the Wallaces have come to the right place and found you.
