I saw him chewing something and looking naughty. Turns out it was chewing gum. Luckily not the sugar free variety. He then spit it out when I tried getting it out of his mouth and it got stuck...I mean really stuck on his front leg. I had to cut a big tuft of that soft fleece out...Sigh! At least he smells minty fresh.I'd love to hEar what silly things your dood has chewed on?

LOL I know that "looking naughty" look very well!!!!!  I get that from Buddy all the time.  Glad it wasn't the sugar free kind, and sorry about having to cut it out......  They can be so sassy, but don't feel alone, there are plenty more out there like Ollie :)

Yes! He gets plenty of practice with that look. :-)
Next thing you know Ollie will be blowing bubbles!!
lol Amy!
If there is a next time, you may be able to get the gum out by using peanut butter?
out of the fur (not the mouth)
Lol! It may work for the mouth too. Ollie loves peanut butter. he would totally drop gum for it.
Ollie is so cute :) Teddy chews gum ALL the time! He looks for it on the ground, and if he finds a piece stuck to the ground he'll try to pry it up. He loves it! Whenever I see him chewing something for too long in the park or on a walk, I say "LEAVE IT" a couple times and a piece of gum will come flying out of his mouth! I wish they made special doggy gum, I would definitely buy it. Teddy does not swallow anything, just loves to chew, so I think that is why he loves gum so much.
Haha! I should consider myself lucky then that Ollie ate a fresh piece of gum and not one chewed by random strangers :-)

Funny! Ours seem to find it on our walks a lot.

Ollie-you are supposed to hide that from your mommy!

Yes. That is a lesson Ollie hasn't learned yet. He can't hide a thing. he thinks he is burying bones when they are sticking out for everybody to see. :-)
Owen hasn't chewed gum yet, but he is currently decimating our raspberry patch. First, he pulled out all of the branches that were bearing fruit. Now, he is pulling out all the branches that should bear fruit next year. I cannot stand the thorns! How does he manage to put them in his mouth, pull them out, and chew them? sigh.
