Jumping to the Beginning of a Discussion

It is happening frequently, in the last few days, that when I try to reply to a response to a discussion, the screen jumps to the beginning of the discussion instead of opening a reply box. Anyone else experiencing this?

I use Mozilla Firefox, here is my user agent info.
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2.23) Gecko/20110920 Firefox/3.6.23

I've experienced this off and on for months. It's fixed by just switching browsers. Between Firefox and Chrome one usually works.

Yes, however my computer does it differently. I will be reading one post and when I scroll down to the next post, it jumps to the beginning.

It could be a software update that was not good or a server issue.  I'm newer here, reading mostly, so I don't know who is in charge of maintaining the board updates from the software company.

 

I don't this it's your browsers honestly.

 

Is the board run off a paid server or does someone run it off a fast home or company connection?  Those two items could be the problem or many other things.  As I don't post usually, I'm not familiar with the problem.  My guess is it's the software.

For me it was probably not the browser since I changed nothing and it disappeared. DK is part of the Ning network. That's all I know.
