JD is the only dog I've ever had who never ever wants to be under a blanket. He's just hot-blooded, I guess.

That was adorable. I was hoping for an actual article on how to tell if your dog is cold and needs to go inside or put on a jacket (sorry naked doodles). Last winter Sophie was just a baby and I had her out too long a couple of times and she would wimper and lift her paws up off the ground one at a time. Then I'd pick her up and carry her for a bit. She's a big girl now so I don't imagine she'd be so vocal about it.
