Toby has started something odd. He likes to have one of my fingers in his mouth. He doesn't really clamp down, and he doesn't chew on it. He kind of likes it in the space where he doesn't really have teeth. I have been massaging his gums lately, just so that he's used to it. It started after that. Should I stop it? If he gets rough ever, I call a halt to it. He's 13 1/2 weeks old.

I find most male dogs to be "mouthy" especially as puppies......Blake still likes to take my wrist in his mouth and sometimes he will mouth my chin as a greeting.....No biting...just gently in the mouth.....Must be a Freudian "guy thing".....: )
Casey will walk with me like that - just gently takes my hand in his mouth as I walk through the house. It's kind of like we're holding hands. ; )
Our puppy did this when he was teething too, but I didn't want him to make a habit of it, so I started taking a wet washcloth and freezing it and letting him suck/chew on that while it thawed......roll it up, then freeze it. He loved it and do a couple of them so you'll always have one in the freezer.....

It's very soothing to their sore gums....
I do have a frozen cloth available. Maybe he's teething, I guess. Which might be a good thing, because I hear when the adult teeth come in, the nipping goes WAY down.
Those little puppy teeth can really pinch!...Ouch!
