Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
Ive looked around and Found that a multi-gen labradoodle or a multi-gen Australian labradoodle might be my best bet as far as my allergies go.I think the multi-gen Australian labradoodle is an even better bet than the Multi-gen labradoodle but i know there are no guarntees for my allergies.I think i have a better chance with these labradoodles than any other though. My question is. Why did they use the cocker spaniel in the making of the Australian labradoodle?.They can have a lot of health issues. What did they contribute to the Australian labradoodle. What was the benefit of using the cocker spaniel?

When I got my second French bulldog the breeder said that she was sure that theFrenchies recognized each other. And when I got Zoey home she and Bruno really reacted like they were long lost. I also had 2 pugs at the time and no such reaction to the pugs!. Same reaction when Gracie my third Frenchie joined my family. When Zach came home the Frenchies treated him like an alien from space. Are you dog? However there is another LD in the neighborhood, Pearl, and whenever Zach encounters her on our walks they great each other like best friends. Zach does not react similarly to any other dog.
Jared, if you're looking for a more 'manly' looking dog, I'd go with the ALD. I can't tell you how many men I meet at the dog park who say to me what a 'good looking' dog Bo is! Men are just automatically attracted to him. Of course the ladies love him too but the men ALWAYS say, 'that's one good looking dog!"
Bo's has a chocolate fleece coat. He does not shed AT ALL and his coat rarely mats up. I do brush him 5 days a week but that's more for a mommy, doggie bonding time. Bo loves to be brushed 'cause he knows he's going to get a mini massage afterward :-)).
Do your research on finding a good breeder. I don't know where you are located but I'm in Illinois. If you PM me, I'll give you the name of my breeders. They produce outstanding dogs.
