So I am definitely a amateur with my photography but I wanna do a Christmas photo of Parker for our Christmas cards this year! We live in a tiny apartment so it isn't like we have a beautiful fireplace as a background and the outside is a parking lot with bare trees so not exactly scenic! Anyone have any simple ideas I could do to make my photos look less "cheap"
Here are some of our practice shots! Someone had told me they used to use Christmas lights and scatter balls but with the limited space we have and junky backgrounds...not sure they worked out either! lol

Does anyone know if there is a x-mas card exchange this year?

Group A is filled but Group B is still open.
Thanks for the examples! I will definitely go to picnik and try this out! Might save me more photo session time! lol
I think # 3 is very nice and I just adore the 5th one because it's not posed for, but very sweet looking.
I adore the pic of Parker with the Christmas lights...You can just see the wonderment of his 1st Christmas!!
These are really cute and with a little playing around you should have no problem coming up with the perfect card.
lol thanks! This is a cute idea!
Donna, Quit trying to make me look bad :) I like yours better....darn it!!
Donna, how did you do that to Parker's eyes? Every time I try to take away the yellow eye, they look dull and flat. I love how you put a sparkle in his eye. I need step-by-step instructions, please! :-) Hopefully that will also work trying to pull Rua's eyes through all the hair that is usually there.
Dori you can do this in Piknik, there are two options for fixing red eye, human and furball, this is done using the furball option. Sorry but it won't work for removing the hair, that's where photoshop comes in.
Just keep it simple. Crop the one with the lights and ball the 6th shot and you will be fine. Less is best with the doods. I also like the reindeer one cropped.
