Piper our three month old doodle is very smart and pretty well behaved but she a bit of an angle biter!! I know she thinks it's just playful but we try yipping like a pup, saying no, and ignoring it... But it still seems to be her go to for attention. Hoping she grows out of it with time.

do you mean ankle biter?

Haha yes!!

I wish I had some answers for you - Im trying to figure out how to stop my inlaws dog from biting and chewing on my dog! You seem to be on the right track, she will probably grow out of it as long as you stick to the training

Erin... its a puppy thing, both my doodles went thru this, everytime they bit me I yelped then put a chew toy in their mouth.  If I was playing with them and they got real bitey I would stop the play immediately.  It will pass... just a puppy thing but try to control it now and make her/him understand that it is not acceptable :)   good luck

Puppy-puppy-puppy! Ours were like this and it usually goes away, keep doing what you are doing!!!

Angle biter?  I had to read this post because our dog is an angle (you know, the 90 degree type angle) biter also.  He loves to chew on corners made of wood or plaster.  He chewed the bottom of the cabinets, the corners of the walls inside the house, the deck edges, etc.  He has almost grown out of it (at 18 months).  You  just have to keep your sense of humor.

And, oh yes, my husband did discover that he did not like the taste of tabasco.  There was a lot of it painted on the lawn furniture, the bottom of the cabinets, the corners of the deck.  He could buy it by the pint and put it on with a toothbrush.  The dog stayed away from those corners.
