We'd love to have Banjo up on our bed but he wants nothing to do with that, preferring the hard wood floor and sometimes  the chair nearby.  Not much space to stretch out in the chair though....so maybe that's why he spends most of the night on the floor.

So, feeling sorry for him....just the sound of those bones hitting the wood floor every time he repositioned himself during the night was enough to make me feel sorry for him.....I went out and found a nice big, plump, soft bed that he could really stretch out on.  I placed it on the floor right next to the chair, in the spot he typically slept on.

Well, it seems that it is the floor he prefers after all......THIS is where he spends most of the night.

In the little triangle of space BETWEEN the chair and his bed!

He does use his bed during the day when I'm showering or tidying up the bedroom.   Silly dog!

Gracie Doodle sleeps in her California King Size bed and invites us in to join her every night.  In the summer she sometimes takes to the entry hall floor which is lime stone and very cool or she will stretch out on the carpet in the middle of the dining room or computer room and never join us in the bedroom!  I think she is driven mainly by temperature.  Gracie hates to be hot and in the winter we sleep with all the bedroom windows open and the ceiling fan on high...we hate to be hot too!

Oh Miss Gracie.....You are so sweet to allow your mom and dad to share your CAKSB!   LOL....Sounds like Gracie knows what she likes!

Silly Banjo!  Tori will roam too.  She is on and off her pillow and then even goes on the wood floor and rests her head on the area rug.  And then as she stretches out, she kind of moans.... makes me feel even worse, like my great grandmother did when she tried to get up after sitting for a while - lol.....

By the way - NICE new haircut, Banjo Boy!  HANDSOME!

Hmmmmm......I think Banjo would love to meet Bailey!     I love those doodles who sleep sprawled on their backs.....Banjo never seems to do that.

Knox likes the hard brick paver floor right outside our bedroom!  He sleeps about six feet from my side of the bed.  He spends a good part of his day, though, in a burgundy leather chair in our family room.  Poor poor Knoxer!

Yoda gets up on the bed with us at night and lays right in the middle of us.  After about 15 min., he jumps down and gets in his doggie bed on the floor.  However, my fiance gets up at 4:00 to go to work and Yoda is immediately up in the bed snuggling with me until I wake up.  Then he sleeps in our bed all day long.  We often come home to a huge dent in the bed where he has been curled up all day while we were at work :)

Guinness sleeps UNDER our bed in his "man cave".  He loves it there and has decorated it with all of his favorite toys.  He especially likes the fact that Big Murph can't get to him...or the toys.  Murphy usually rotates between his bed and Guinness's.

I love that Guinness is has a flair for decorating!

Hey Carol, check out Kahlua.  She will sleep where SHE wants to, we always want her to come up with us on the couch, which SHE does when SHE wants to.   If we are on the couch she'll honor us with her big butt, but she'll then move over to HER chair.  BTW, she's 95lbs so it's not an easy feat fitting that butt into this chair.

LOL.....What a cozy doodle!!!

lol they manage to fit in the funniest spots!

Daisy has two beds, one in the living room and one in our bedroom she divides her time on those. But last night, quite by accident I think, she slept on our bed down by our legs, not all night but at least a couple of hours. She got up there during play and then we decided to go to sleep so she stayed.  I of course was beyond uncomfortable but no way I would kick her off.
