Does your Doodle do this? My DH took off his shirt and tossed it in near the laundry basket . . . .and overnight, Bodi removed the buttons!! He left BIG holes where the buttons were! We found the buttons on the floor, so no worries that he ate them! When I placed the shirt on the bed to take the picture, Bodi jumped right up so he could be in the picture - he can't miss a photo op!
Hmmm Bodi, Santa might skip you this year!

lol! Parker does things like that with his toys....plucks any hard bits off (such as eyes) but he hasn't touched any buttons on daddy's shirts....daddy would be very mad! lol He is getting into the habit of taking things from where they don't belong and putting them in the middle of the floor for me though....like the other day I showered and left my clothes on the floor in the bathroom (hadn't had the chance to put them in the hamper yet) and he takes them out of the bathroom and drags them into the living room where I can see that I left a mess! haha yet he leaves his toys alllll over the house!
Maybe you should sign Bodi up for the next season of Project Runway. He obviously has a very specific sense of style!!!
Ha ha ha! Good thing ripped up clothes are all the fad!
Bodi was just telling Dad to pick up after himself. What a helpful little doodle.
Maybe your DH will learn a thing or two -- or maybe not if he's any thing like mine...
My kitten dumps the clothes in near the clothes basket in the dogs water bowl.... and tries to take them into the litter box
I say it's all the fault of men...when will they learn IN. Sounds like a training command doesn't it?
Glad he didn't eat the buttons.
Ollie does this even without buttons... grrr.
Yup.. both my doodles love to snatch up clothes. I have to be VERY carfull and not leave anything laying around. I also have to keep my purse bolted shut or take it in the bedroom with me at night because Ollie like to rummage thru my purse and take anything that seems interesting - LOL. When he first "discovered" purses I was watching TV, he come running into the livingroom with my wallet in his mouth with a look on his face like "Mommy look what I found" it was so cute but he got scolded and I am very careful now. Since Ollie is tall and can reach anything spot on the counter I need to keep all "things" he likes in cabnets or behind closed doors.
Sadie drags my clothes all over the place (I, too, need to be better trained to put things IN rather than NEAR the laundry basket) but has only ever damaged one pair of jeans by chewing a button off. But what she likes to do best is grab kitchen towels from wherever they're hanging and trot off with them (I'm sure you're all familiar with the trot of a proud doodle).
I just love hearing about cute, naughty Doodles.....when they aren't mine! Look at that sweet face...how could you even be mad.
Ohhhhhh, how I know the cute faces=they are little imps in cute costumes!
~Hope~my GD does all of the above whenever she gets the chance. I am hoping that much of this mischief subsides when she gets a bit older (she is only 8mos).
You are very BLESSED with your doodles-have a wonderful Doodle Holiday from Sharee & Hope
