This regularly scheduled doodle romp snuck up on me. I'm skeptical as to the turnout, as it lands on a holiday... New Year's Day. Should have checked the calendar more closely when I set this up months ago. Anyway, it is still on, and hopefully there will be enough doodles attending to hit the price break of $5 per doodle. My computer isn't working at the moment, and am using my iPad. For all the details on registering with Fidos Indoor Dog Park if you haven't already done so, please see previous discussions on 1st Sunday doodle romps at Portland Area Doodles on doodlekisses.com.

Lucy,Tim & I won't be attending this romp, as Lucy was just diagnosed with a non-foreign body eye infection yesterday, and I don't want to expose other doodles to it. Antibiotic drops will be administered for 2 weeks.

Hope to hear back from those who attend!

Two important things....Romp on Sunday is off....Fidos is closed to public....they can't find contact info for planer..I called them trying to get contact info to let people know Doodlekisses.com has a bad virus....shut my laptop down.......I contacted Kemp so he could call Adina...really bad one...shut my core down... To rebuild.

Thanks for letting us know.  Happy New Year!

Kathleen good to know, we would of had to pass hope to see everyone in Feb.

I hope Lucy feels better soon!  We'll see you in Feb.  Happy New Year!!!

Thanks Kathleen for posting about the Fidos closure on New Years Day. Frankly, I was surprised they were closed, as they're open most holidays, but I'm glad people got the msg. before heading over there.

I got a call from the vet on Friday, and tuns out the cytology tests they ran showed Lucy had a yeast AND bacteria infection, in addition to the eye infection, so she's on a couple different meds in addition to the eye drops. She's always been prone to those kinds of things since she was a pup. Wonder if it's the poodle in her? She's on Fromms food and I wash her bedding weekly... I just am at a loss as to why she gets infections so easily. I was able to stop her chronic ear infection (right ear only) by using Thornit Canker powder, available only through the UK. Her ears are a beautiful pink all the time now. If only I could be so lucky with the rest of her body!
