Bummer...have been dusting, vacuuming and cleaning away...just got a call from my realtor.  The other realtor cancelled!

I usually don't do the vacuuming as it is hard on my back.  Tired and my back hurts now.  So, think Rua & I will go take a little nap (actually, I'll have to wake Rua from her current nap to go take a nap with me).

Thank you all for the thoughts & prayers.  Even though it didn't work out now...I have faith it will soon!

*****************************************************************************************************************

Just when I thought I would have a nice quiet day at home...sewing & napping...my realtor calls.  Someone wants to show the house from 5:30 to 6:30.  So...it is 1:30 right now.  I had no plans to clean, do my wood floors and vacuum...I treated myself to a 1/2 day of cleaning service on Thursday, 1/5, so I figured I could skate by till then.

So, I am a big believer in things happening for a reason, so, send those positive thoughts, vibes, prayers and Doodle-crossed paws our way.

BTW, here is Rua in her new hoodie!

Fingers, Toes AND Paws crossed for you Dori!    I, too believe everything happens for a reason!    Rua, you are such a lucky little Doodle Girl!   Your mommy could start a line of "Doodle Finery"!

Good luck!

Oh I can so relate to the whole real estate nightmare, so I truly have all the toes and paws crossed here for you.  Wouldn't that be a wonderful gift for the New Year ... allowing you to move forward with beginning the rest of your life.  Good Luck.  P.S.  Rua's little hoodie is adorable!

Hi Dori, I love the pictures!  I am sending you good vibes and I hope you are like me in the sense that you work best under pressure!

Dori - as a retired Realtor - this is how is works - just when you don't expect it - a buyer comes along.  I'm saying a prayer!!!!

And just who do you think picked out the fabric for that hoodie!!!!  I Love Mommy!  Very cute and I assume you made it for her.  Okay, we have everything crossed here.  We thought my mother's fixer upper house would never sell at the price we were asking so we started doing some repairs.  A lady that had fallen in love with it, had great plans for it was just sitting back watching what would develop with the house.  When she saw the work starting she came in, said to stop all work, put in an offer and after two counter bids we had it sold...as is!!!  We closed Escrow last Thursday!  We had tons of low ball offers over the few months it was on the market but then we got lucky.  The lady only lives three blocks from my Mother's house and was downsizing and her Escrow on her house sale closed on Dec. 20th so she was very eager to close immediately.  It all has a way of working out so we are tripping around the house with our toes, legs, arms and fingers crossed for you Dori.  Hugs to little Rua!

The first (and as it turned out, only) offer on my parents' house came the day I met with the realtor to talk about putting it on the market.  A friend of my parents told this gentleman that the house would be on the market soon.  He called me directly.  Turns out his son had been in my father's math class years ago, and had adopted one of my dad's "wise old sayings" as a guide for his life (it was one of my favorite stories of my dad's, too).  It was like the sale was "meant to be".  Hope things work out for Dori just as easily!

oooohhh, good luck!

Rua looks adorable in her I Love Mommy hoodie!!

Good luck to you Dori! Fingers and paws crossed for you today!!

Good vibes are coming your way from (not-so) sunny California!!

Good luck. Hide Rua, they may only want the house if they can have her too : )

Sell, sell, sell!  Please, please, please!!!
