I just found out that AAA has a prescription savings plan tht also covers pets. Mariner's monthly medication cost $7.99/month. Using the AAA prescription card it reduces the cost to $6.39. If I use the mail in service the cost is $5.95 for a 3 month supply.
Thanks for sharing :). I have AAA and didn't realize that! Is there a spot under members services that I can look to see what rx's are covered? I get lost everytime I go on that site looking for something so please write in crayons for me! LOL
I'm not surprised they do offer this though. AAA is probably one of the best values out there!
You have to create a login at the AAA website. After you login on the left side of the page about half way down there is someting that says "Prescription plan" (or something like that). Then look for "Cost of prescription" . I also get lost on the website but eventually I find it.
Check out Costco.
Cooper's meds cost $129 a month from Walgreens. I called around and Costco was $28. YES THAT IS $100 DIFFERENCE!!! Then because I am a member (you do not have to be a member for the pharmacy) and Cooper does not have insurance they gave me another discount of a couple dollars.
I could not believe the savings. I double checked. The employees laughed and said they get questioned all the time.
Costco is my new favorite =)
WOW!!! That is so WONDERFUL!!! I am so glad to hear companies looking out for our pets too!!! I actually have the Banfield Insurance. Bear does go to a vet there and it has really saved a lot of money for us :)
