So it has been 2 weeks since Bella got spayed. She has been healing fine and is back to herself :)

My question is, how soon did you let your doodles go back to daycare or play rough with other dogs? She played pretty rough with a dog today and didnt squeal or cry and her incision looks fine but of course I am thinking that I shouldnt have let her do that. So now I am worrying!

I think 2 weeks is typically all vets say to wait. She is probably fine.

Peri was back at daycare after 3 weeks...i think I was slightly paranoid and gave her an extra one.

When Sasha was spayed my vet said 2 wks rest, no running, jumping, playing.  I had a 2 wk. post-op visit and he cleared her for normal activity.  You should be ok... do you have a post-op visit scheduled?

No post-op visit scheduled. Thanks for all the feedback though. I think she is just fine. I am just paranoid about everything with Bella..as we probably all our with our pets :)

I agree with the "two weeks".  My Vet told me not to let Guinness and Murph play roughly for the first two weeks, but I must admit after about a week It was really difficult to keep them apart.

I think she's fine to play now. If she has no other issues with incision and such!

I agree if the vet said two weeks, then you should be fine. I was able to keep my Bella quiet and calm for about 4 days, and then just monitored her activity and incision. If she was uncomfortable I figured she'd stop on her own and if her playing looked too rough to me I stopped it. She also had a hernia repair at the same time and even with that the 2 weeks was plenty of time. I did have a post surgery checkup though too. You probably can tell them at daycare to keep her with the less active or maybe smaller dogs for another week if you need her to go to daycare.
