Look What I Just Got In My Morning Mail! Warning: May Cause Envious Thoughts!!

Please don’t be jealous when I show you what I got from PJ & Zach.  Lately, on the front page, I have been seeing some of the neatest cartoons go by of Zach.  PJ & Zach also posted a blog and you can go to Facebook and like them, which I did, and would do 100 more times, if I could.

Well, lo and behold, I woke up this morning and see this cartoon featuring Fudge and Vern.  Of course, I did not shamelessly ask PJ & Zach to make one for Fudge and Vern.  That would be incredibly cheeky of me to ask a total stranger, who is talented beyond words, to use her valuable time to make a cartoon of my dogs, so that I can have one, too.  It would take a lot of nerve and I, for one, would not do it to a nice, new member of DK.  No, I personally think my dogs got randomly picked by PJ & Zach because of their stunning beauty and personality. I just can’t figure out any other reason I woke up to this unexpected and delightful surprise. Thank you, PJ & Zach, for going through all the pictures on DoodleKisses and choosing Fudge and Vern. (wink, wink)  PJ, You may not know this about me, but I am extremely competitive and I feel like I just won the grand prize. This made my day!!

P.S. If you can think of any other reason, my dogs were selected, please feel free to comment.

Wow, I am truly honored!  Thanks so much on their behalf, Laurie.  I do think that I will try to set something up for donations.  I have to wait until mid-March to begin a project like that, but in the meanwhile, in my spare time I may practice on the sweet doodles I find in your discussion here (as well as Zach, of course).

PJ is very talented and the cartoon is great!

 I am jealous, Laurie, and I would be making sour grapes comments like the others if it were not for the fact that I have shamelessly asked my DK friends for things, too. Like those Fudge and Vern magnets on my fridge, for example. And The Hand. The point being, you have to ask for what you want! And you, Laurie, are good at giving as well as receiving!

(Although, now that I think about The Hand, perhaps the point is "Be careful what you wish for"?)
