Does your doodle twitch when he sleeps?

Was in bed last night with Parker leaning up against my back (daddy is working late so he thought he could spread out on the bed more than usual) and I was trying to nod off to sleep and he kept like twitching. I have seen him do this before, but I could feel it with him leaning up against me...I had to wake him up and move him over so he would stop jerking me back awake. Is that normal??? He doesn't twitch when he's awake during the day, only when he's asleep.

This is totally normal!  Knox twitches when he's asleep and I'm pretty sure I do too, lol!

Ruby twitches a lot, but especially after a very active day - like a day at doggy daycare.

Wally does this too. In fact he often barks in his sleep! He is so noisy we had to move him out of our room at nighttime. Will he outgrow this?

Jack does not twitch. Molly thrashes her body around!!!!

yep, Monty is a twitcher.  I always go see if he is ok and he's always asleep seeming not to mind. I always wonder what could they be thinking in their dreams.  As for Monty I dont think he's had a bad day in his life except for maybe the groomer?  So I believe its all good.

lol I think Parker dreams of losing me, since that is what he gets upset about during the day. I go to check the mail or change the laundry over and he gets so upset and cries at the door! But in reality...he has not had a bad day!

Bailey twitches, whimpers and has a low woof when she sleeps.  sometimes her paws are in rythym as if she is running...  Makes me giggle...

twitches, paws, smacks his lips, whines, yelps, occasional little barks. It's amazing anyone sleeps!

Camus is a twitching, whimpering, woofing in his sleep dood. At times he is so active in his sleep I wake him up - so both he and I can go back to sleep.

Oh yeah !!!  Sasha always snuggles with me on the couch and she always twitches, runs in place, groans, etc.    I think she has some awesome doggie dreams.  Oliver on the other hand does not make a peep, he is a very sound sleeper :)

Yes-Chloe does this and every noght she goes in our bed early and falls asleep and starts yelping like clockwork. I tell DH that she must pick up in the same spot of her dream everytime!

Chloe and Myla both have their paws going in their sleep but Myla rarely yelps, she's a big time drama queen groaner when she lays down!
