SECOND UPDATE: Please see the new turn of events just announced in a new discussion!!! BUB's saga is starting to read like a suspense novel....twists and turns all over the place!!
UPDATE: THIS JUST IN.....Karen was nice enough to tally up the winners and she and Jane (Rooney and Stuart) tied for first place. Karen has decided, after much consideration, that she does not want Brad and conceded the victory to Jane. Jane, private message me your address and Brad is on his way to your house to live a life of luxury...ride the golf carts, meet the gators, play with Rooney and Stuart, and make all the other women jealous in your neighborhood! Congratulations!! I hope BUB and you will be very happy!!
Sunday is Oscar night in our household. I watch every year and usually get mad at who wins, but this year I thought it might be fun to have a little contest. Of course, we need a prize and I have the perfect one for the gal or guy who has everything. Everyone can use a friend, especially one who is not judgmental, is always a good listener, never long winded (unless you release his valve), and likes to spend time with you. No, I am not offering my services, but I do have the right guy for this occasion and his name is Blow Up Brad!
Keep in mind, when inflated, he does not look exactly like the guy on the box, but he could still be useful if you ever find yourself driving on I-95 and need one more passenger to get in the HOV lane. He is also available to sit at the dinner table with you, so you never eat alone again, and he will never pick his Ipad2 or Kindle over you, so you have time on your hands to think of stupid contests.
Please be kind to Brad, if you are the winner. He has already been rejected by a friend and my mother and returned to me. His ego is bruised and he needs a loving home. Please note he is potty trained, sleeps in a box, and just needs a good pump from time to time to realize his full potential.
Pump is not included in this offer!
Alright, now here is all you need to do to play. Pick the Oscar winners BEFORE the Oscar telecast and Monday, I will tally up the entries and let you know who won and who gets Brad. Good luck. I can't wait to get rid find a wonderful home for a wonderful inflatable guy. In case of a tie, I will choose the winner based on who I like better a question I come up with after the Oscars.

YAY..Pat...this could be the winner :)
Did Brad shave his chest hair for that photo on the box? I wouldn't have recognized him! I'm really not fond of that slick-chested look (reference the Neil Diamond concert discussion).
Here are my picks, just for fun. If I win, I defer to Jennifer of Jennifer & Jack. (I have my own cuddly, fuzzy one, so I shouldn't be greedy--and I'm not talking about Cosmo!)

Best Picture: The Artist (because all the Hollywood people just can't get over it--a silent, black & white movie!)

Best Supporting Actress: Octavia Spencer for The Help

Good luck, Jennifer!
Jennifer is going to be so happy if you win. She has the hots for Brad :) LOL Yes, I was slightly disappointed when we un-wrapped Brad :) False advertisement, if you ask me! By the way, I had the exact same answers and then I changed my Best Foreign Film :) Great minds almost think alike!
Laurie, I'm honored! Because you have a truly great mind!
I hope Jennifer and Brad will be very happy together! *^_^*
Thanks, Elizabeth! Didn't Angelina already break those two up? LOL
Leslie, Good guesses.....maybe Brad has found a new home :)
I would like to take a stab at this just for fun, but first I am issuing a disclaimer: I DO NOT WANT BRAD AND WILL NOT ACCEPT BRAD SHOULD I WIN. HE WILL BE RETURNED TO SENDER, POSSIBLY WITH EVEN FEWER BODY PARTS.
