A few months back, there was a discussion regarding this "wonder powder" that came from England that totally helped with the licking of paws issue. Can anyone help me with the make and name of that powder and as I am returning home in a few weeks I want to pick some up as everyone reckons it is amazing. Thank you.

Thanks Nicky. Got it :)

Thanks Karen. I guess I can purchase it for myself whilst in England and it will probably be cheaper as I wont have to pay export taxes.

Danger

******The debate rages whether this powder is better than other ear cleaners and treatments. But I would caution you against using it as a dust on the dog for general itching. The ingredients, iodoform, boric acid and zinc oxide can be toxic if ingested. Dgs, especially itchy ones, lick themselves all the time. So deep in the ear canal may be okay but please don't put this on your dogs skin.

Point taken. Thanks for the websites. I will use with caution...:)

Good : )

I only use it once a week in Riley's ears and nowhere else.  His ears are clean and he doesn't itch at all though before  started using it he was quite itchy. I think if there was infection or if his paws were involved I would go to the vet.  I think I would also wash them very frequently or wipe them down with a wet wipe as it could be a contact allergy issue.

Thank you so much. I'll bring it back with me. I will make sure I wash their paws everytime they go in and out. Maybe that will help with the paw licking thing.
