Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
We had a discussion once before on dog friendly SUV's. Does anyone have any advice on dog friendly models? I currently have a Lexus RX350 but now that Hattie has arrived with all her paraphernalia it is cramped, especially if I have someone riding with me or if I have luggage. I have to haul her crate to hotels now as well, and I bought one of those plastic ones that comes in two pieces but it takes up a lot of room in the back.

Can't tell you about newer SUVs. We have a volvo xc90 and it works for us with three dogs. Couldn't you get one of the soft travel crates perhaps?
We have that one too, Nancy. Lots of room for Doodles and their gear.
I really love it, but ours is a 2005 so not necessarily up to date. I would like to check out the xc60 (I think it is called)
Get it. Better to be safe.
I have a Ford Explorer, love it with our two standard Doodles. Travel all over and there is room for them and three weeks of luggage etc. with no problem. They have room to walk around, look out plenty of windows, and lie down and stretch out when rear seats are down. I will definately replace this one with another.
We have a GMC Yukon and lots of room for my 2 large doodles. I keep the back seat down and keep 2 big beds in there all the time. When I do have people with us, there is still plenty of room for them behind the second row of seats. Plus the best part is the split back seat, plenty of room on one seat for 2 people and if we are picking them up at the airport, we put the single back seat down and that is where their luggage goes, so doesn't cut down on the room the doodles have in the back.
Next time I go car shopping I'm going to ask them to "match" your Doodle Discount! lol.
What... you offer a Doodle Discount? Tim never told me that :)
I'm game for a doodle discount :)
Rachel, go down and see Tim!! Ask him for that doodle discount!
I might have to do that (even without a doodle discount)
