Molly, although moving constantly and chewing everything you put next to her did pretty good. She is now exhausted and sleeping from her photo shoot. I got a kick out of some of her looks. The sneaky look was easily captured...which is common place when she gets into things she KNOWS she isn't allowed to. Gary said if I could get another puppy...I am only concerned it will be like taking care of twins. I have always had two dogs and really miss a second one around. I know everyone thinks I am crazy, but I want to start a Paws to Read and/or Therapy Dog Program here in my county. Wish I could get one already potty trained like Molly. So, I am thinking and thinking about it. Have any ideas let me know. Have a wonderful Sunday everyone!!!!

I read how excited you guys were about your second doodle. I started researching avaliable doodles again but this time I want one with a blockier head. Molly is second generation and has a more poodle face. So I want them to really look different. I also do not want to wait too long since I am too old to go thru the puppy stage again in another yr. Have a great Thanksgiving!
As far as a reading program if, I would look and see if any of library (city or school) has such a thing going already. If not, then your best bet is to wait until Molly passes her therapy dog evaluation so that she would be ready to work otherwise there's not much you can start without a dog. Contact delta society or or therapy dog's international (you can google both of those or join our therapy group here and read what I've written about starting your dog in therapy) and find out if they have any members in your county. You could then contact those members and find out if any of them are interested in starting a reading program. But without other therapy dogs to work with there's not much you can start for at least a year.
Oh my goodness, not only is Molly darling, but you should be a professional photographer. I got my second doodle when my first doodle was 9 months old. It turned out to be a great idea. I have always had two dogs also, although usually about 6 or 7 years apart in age. I was already in the "groove" so to speak with the first one. Quite a change from having one very elderly and one very ill dog, with the first puppy! The second one made the first one easier. They play together, and hang out together when I am gone. I feel less guilty when I have to leave. I make sure each gets one on one time almost every day and I still walk them separately most of the time, although I am really looking forward to the time when they can walk together with me. I say go for it.
You are so thining like me. I am currently looking for another puppy...an Australian Multigen Labradoodle. My only fear is that Molly is such a horrendous difficult puppy to feed. She has eaten nothing today and needs to gain some weight. I am at a loss of what to do. Fortunately, I talked to a breeder in Oregon that had some chocolate puppies and she gave me some food advice and I am off in a few minutes to pick up the products she recommended. I am big on natural and really healthy food w/o the bad stuff commercial grade products have in them. I figure if I get another puppy...It will defintely be easier now than later. Have a great week.
