Romp near Pittsburgh, PA

Thought it might be easier to start a thread.

Leave a note if your interested in meeting at Lucky Paws Saturday, March 17th.

Lucky Paws is located in Freedom, PA only a few miles (~10 mins) from the intersection of 19 and 228 in Cranberry Twp.

Cost is $10 entry fee, and entrance requires proof of UTD vacs including Bortadella. Indoor and outdoor facility. The pool is closed until Memorial day, but still a nice facility.

We plan on coming with our two doodles, Maggie and Jazz. I,m not sure if we can make it for the yappy hour but we could be there by 10. It will take us 90 minutes to get there. I,m looking forward to getting together!

Cant wait to meet your doodles! 10 sounds great.

I have already been to the Yappy Hour for Recall, so I will plan to come around 10, too. It was a nice session, I'm happy to elaborate further if anyone is interested in attending, but wants to know more about Lucky Paw's version of Yappy Hour (much different from the DK version ;-])

I am 1 1/2 hrs from there. Sounds like fun. Whats the rules for these romps?

This will be my first romp, so I'm not sure what the regular rules are... I think this time, we'll all just meet up together at the park and let the doodles romp together.

In the future, Lucky Paws has a rental space for $100 and all dogs part of the group get in free. When its much more crowded in the summer I think it would be fun to do this, as it gives us a large area for just those in our party, and we could all bring food and sweets and such. This time, I think with short notice, we'll keep it simple and just hang out till people feel like leaving.

Only other "rules" are they do require proof of current vaccinations for Rabies, Distemper and Bortadella, so bring a copy of something that shows the last date of vaccination. I've had my vet fax them this before, and they keep it on file for me so I don't have to remember it when I go.
