Power Outage

We recently had a power outage while I was cooking dinner. I immediately picked up the phone to call the electric cooperative to advise them of the outage. As soon as their afterhours phone answered the lights came back on.
Apparently Haley was upset about the lights going out.

Oh I love this picture....lap Doodle!  The last time we had a power outage it lasted eight days.  Actually, the boys seemed to love this little adventure.  We drove around a lot to stay warm....they love road trips.  We got lots of "take out"....and they always got a little treat from our meals.  We spent lots of time in the shelter....they loved meeting new people and dogs.  Guinness got to sleep in our bed to stay warm.  For them it was like a vacation.....for us, not so much.

Awwww....how sweet! The one who reacts like this to power outages in our house is ME. I get crazy, but the dogs seem oblivious. The only problem I had with our last power outage was the sleeping. We sleep with a fan on to mute noises and without that fan, the dogs reacted to every little noise they heard that night. It was a long night :)

Awwwww....such a cute photo!  Haley is just a big baby at heart.  Trav wouldn't notice a power outage.  He has to go out in the dark by himself at night, in the yard, to take care of business, so he's used to the dark.  I would hate it!

Poor Mr. Haley! Well, he knows where to go to be safe!!  I don't think our power has gone off at night since we have had Tara so I'm not sure about that. It has gone off during the day but of course that is no big deal!  Now I'm hoping I don't have to find out!! LOL!
